2005

It was an honored
to be invited back to exhibit pedal cars at the 2005 Concours d'Elegance at
Cranbrook. This is our second year at Cranbrook and the prestigious Concours
d'Elegance. Our display was located between the Triton
Pools and the Orpheus Fountain with nine pedal cars.
This
year our location brought special attention as a result of the torrential rains
we experienced most of the morning. When the wind wasn't blowing we had one of
the few dry spots. Consequently we had many more visitors than we might have had
otherwise. Since many of the full sized cars were not unloaded due to the
rain, people had an opportunity to really spend time with the pedal cars and to
reminisce about their childhood "wheels". Our location again became
popular in the early afternoon when unfortunately, approximately a 40-foot tree
limb broke off a tree and landed in the middle off a GM concept car! Fortunately
no one was injured.
We had a great time
and hope to be invited back next year!
